I started re-reading "Are you Dave Gorman". I gave my German copy to [info]lonanivymaeve and yesterday I got the English original as a birthday present. And because I finally managed to finish the 3rd part of "Eragon" (WHY is this story still not finished?? I don't really want to read more of it..) I'm now free to start something "new".
I remember reading the book together with my sister while I was reading Dave's part and she was doing Danny's. We just constantly burst into laughter which made it a little hard to read on XDDD
I just read the first two chapters yesterday and it stil makes me laugh so hard even though I already know what's gonna happen. Those two are such an awesome team of dorks <3
Maybe I'll finally find the courage to write Dave an e-mail after finishing this book again. But admitting my obvious fangirliness to the man himself is a little too embarrassing for me I'm afraid.. XDDD;;
But even though he may never know it, he'll always be my red-bearded hero <3

[info]roropon and me went to see Heinz Strunk today. The place was small but pretty packed. Heinz read from his new book "Fleckenteufel" which is a lot like his previous works meaning hilarious but quite disgusting sometimes. Seriously.. I was constantly torn between cracking up and thinking "OMG ewwwww~~~". I guess only the Heinzer can do that without anybody leaving the room in between. How someone can write in such length about shit is beyond me.. XDDD

And I finally got my book signed!!! His handwriting is so messy that you can only guess what it means but it's the thought that counts XDD
I love you, Heinzer! Come back when your new book is out!

PS: Happy Birthday Shunri! <33

I bumped my knee on the train.
I missed my train and had to wait for two hours for the next one.
I bumped my head on the trunklid of my dad's car.

Only good thing about today: I finally started reading "Friends like these". And due to the fact that I had so much time to kill I'm already halfway through.. XDD
Thanks Danny for making this day a little bit more enjoyable! <33
I have missed his writing. I was laughing a lot on the train XDDD
And I had almost forgotten the name of his wife. It amuses me every time I read it.. XDDDD

I just finished my book. It was a book full of strange people doing strange things but I still liked it.
It's not the best book I've ever read and Murakami probably won't become my new favorite author but it was still worth giving it a try.
He kinda talks about sex a lot. Or mabye I just paid the most attention to that.. XDD
Ah~ I'm not very good at giving my opinion on things like that ^^;;

I wonder if I'll like it.
More on that when I start reading.. XD

I wanted to write you an e-mail when I finished your first book. I wanted to do the same after the second one. Now I've finished the third one and I still can't bring myself to do it. I wouldn't really know what to write. Other than:

Watching adaptations of books you just read is sometimes strange..
I liked the film. Eragon was very different from what I'd imagined but also very cute X3 Yes, I fancy the blond type, too XDD
It was just all very rushed and at times quite different from the original. I was glad to see some more parts of the book in the deleted scenes.
I wonder if they'll do a sequel film as well..

Fantasy fascinates me. Well, I guess it's supposed to do that.. XDD
I wish one day I'll be able to create a whole world like this that is just my own. <3
Of course I won't because I don't have the patience for it but it's nice to dream anyway.. XD;;

And I want a dragon~! One that I can fly with and who knows all my thoughts. A very huge pet.. but an awesome one I'm sure X3

During my train ride home today I finally finished "The Harsh Cry of the Heron", the forth book of "Tales of the Otori" by Lian Hearn.
It really is a great book, like all three before it, though I didn't particularly like the ending. It was kinda sad and too many people I liked died.
I'm a bit scared that the same is gonna happen when I read the last part of Harry Potter.
But I'm happy, too, because I just found out that there will be another book of Tales of the Otori which is supposed to be some kind of prequel. I can't wait to read it but it won't come out until September. Well, I'll have to be patient and in the moment I don't want to spend to much money anyway because I'm finally trying to save up a little to not always be broke.. ^^°
Tomorrow I was planning on watching the last part of "Pirates if the Caribbean" with my sister and my cousin but today my cousin called and said she didn't want to come along anymore and I don't know if my sister still wants to see it with me because she isn't here today so I can't ask her. I hope she does because I was really looking forward to this. Otherwise I'll go and watch it on my own. Just me and Cpt. Jack Sparrow... X3

I just finished "Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony".
I don't even know which volume this was.. Must have been at least Part 4 or 5. I lose track of these things very easily but whenever there's an occasion where I could put books on my wish list I check Amazon and hope that there's already a new part available. Or another one of his books for that matter..
I really don't want to go into details why I like this writing so much. It's just a lot of fantasy and action, the coolest characters and I just love his sense of humor.
I doubt you'll ever read this, Eoin (pronounced "Owen", thanks for the info.. XD) but you've got a fan here X33
Go on with the crack!! XD
